Me and my Israeli friends arrived Manchester Vermont and enjoyed the wonderful meal that was crafted by the talented crew of this place! Great food!! 5 stars.!! Great specials, just ask the clerk to create something special...

Visited their roadside stand and was more than impressed by the tacos this little stand serves. I tried the chorizo, vegetable and chicken tacos -- All excellent! I was surprised to find delicious Mexican food this far north!! Did I mention their custard? YUM!

Best tomatillo sauce I've ever had. No one I've taken here has complained about anything. Food is to die for and pretty cheap.

My wife and I were staying at a B&B nearby in Dorset. We like Chipotle, so we thought we'd give this a shot. We were quite happy we did. I got a pork burrito and she got a grilled chicken hill of beans (i.e naked burrito). We also had homemade strawberry soda that was quite tasty, a special for that night. The food was delicious (a welcome change from Chipotle). We liked the decor (hipsteresque, but not overblown). A need addition was the free wifi and charging station. We will definitely be back!

OH. MY. GOD. Cilantro is crazy good. Very sweet young people who work there, and the guy who made my burrito was a true artist. I just moved to Marlboro, VT but I'm going to think up excuses to drive up to Manchester for my Cilantro fix. Fresh. Delicious. Fast. Unpretentious yet sophisticated. Clean environment. Good service.

Overall great place...very casual with delicious burritos and tacos plus a variety of salsa choices. The only complaint I have is that they do not have quacomole. You already have the avocados, why not quac?

Perfect place for a quick bite to eat! The roasted mushroom with the house made cheese was awesome, perfect size too! I will be back very soon.

Stopped in for a quick bite after The Shires of Vermont marathon & was blown away! The roasted mushroom burrito was definitely one of the best I've ever had & I would recommend a stop in to anyone in the area. The casual atmosphere & wonderful employees were just bonus.

i am in total agreement with those who have raved about the place On a quick visit for fishing we stopped here for luch and I got a burrito i went with the store made chorizo with the works My bro went with the soft tacos and was very pleased I had a good feeling about the place. When we pulled up at 1125 for an 1130 opening there were people waiting a the door. We left and came back in 15 mintues and the rush had been cleared and our food was made as we watched A quick lunch and a review to match

This place was really good for a while, but recently took a turn for the worse. The food was always a saltier than I like, but now it's so salty that it burns your tongue and is basically inedible. What gives? If people need thay much salt on their food, let them add it themselves and spare the majority! I gave it a couple tries thinking it may have been a fluke, but I'm sad to say (especially as a local) that I won't be back unless I hear it got better!

Great, flavorful food, and good prices. Cilantro's space is very open, airy, and clean. They offer tacos, burritos, a hill of beans (deconstructed burrito), and salads. They even offer roasted mushrooms as a meat substitute for vegetarians, and they are absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients, a selection of salsas and hot sauces, it's overall a very pleasant lunch option in Manchester.

Really excellent. Way way better than it should be considering its an authentic(ish) street taco place in Vermont! They have great specials - check the board!

  • Lauren A.

This place is fantastic! You can get two tacos and beans and rice for only $8. A great cheap and fresh taco spot. The salsas here are all delicious- between our tacos and chips and salsa we sampled 4 out of the 6. In addition to their great food, this place is dedicated to serving non gmo locally sourced ingredients and investing in local charities. Eat here! You won't regret it.

  • Nate L.

Pretty solid tacos! Tried three of the street tacos; one chicken, one chorizo, one pork. Overall, they were very good but a little greasy. My favorite was the chorizo. Add some of the hot sauces if you are into a little spice. Also ordered the fried chips and they were pretty good. Would have been better if they were hot. Eat it!

Stopped in after a 7-hour hike up to the top of Mt.Equinox and back, then around some of the other trails...needless to say, I worked up a bit of an appetite. Had the "Taco Meal Deal" which comes with two tacos, and a side of rice and beans. Upon their recommendation, I decided to get one each of the "Street Taco" and the "Taco Americano" with the house-made cheese. Both were excellent, made with fresh, local ingredients. The service was excellent, friendly and very accommodating. The only minor complaint I had was that there was no air conditioning...plenty of ceiling fans moving air, but on this 90-degree day, a little A/C would have been appreciated...regardless, I still enjoyed my meal, as the food more than made up for the lack of A/C. If you're looking for a quick, fresh tasty treat in Manchester, don't pass up Cilantros!

Oh. My. GOD. Wow. Just... WOW! So I just moved back to the area after 8 years of living in foodie heaven: Ann Arbor, Michigan. Seriously... the food there is f'cking amazing. Moved back to Bennington and not only is there zilch when it comes to ethnic food options (Rattlesnake closed, wtf) most of the restaurants are going out of business. I love Mexican and there is no place to go so while driving back from W. Dover (Vermont Wine and Harvest Festival) we took 100 and 30 and decided to give this place a try. Very simple menu: burritos (two sizes), tacos (two styles), salad. And then options... protein, salsas, extras. I like a simple menu because it appows a restaurant to stay focused, have fresh ingredients, and truly understand the complexities of a dish. We went with a mini chicken burrito, a street taco (onions and cilantro vs. the gringo version of lettuce, tom, cheese) combo (one beef, one chicken, tomatillo jalapeno salsa) and drinks. They have beer, soda, (including fanta)and sparkling and still water. The food was awesome. Like, seriously awesome. I would not shut up about it awesome. I almost went back for seconds awesome! I have to say I like that it was authentic style and not "Vermont style Mexican". When I'm in my old stomping grounds of NYC I love getting real Mexican. Same as in Ann Arbor - we had a tiny hole in the wall taco place that was dirt cheap, delivered, and was my go to. Cilantro is now that place. So why only four stars?! I know, I know. First, it was the first time so I gotta go back and try it again. Which I will and I am sure that it will become a five star fav. But I did have two three little gripes. First, the rice was HARD. Like overcooked, or sitting too long, or not cooked long enough hard. It was tasty, but a little too hard for my taste. Second, the paper towels in the bathroom were not in the machine but instead on top of it. The machine is high enough to begin with but with the paper towels being on top I actually had a hard time getting to them. Also, since they are not in the machine their were someone's wet finger prints. Ugh. Also, flies. I get that it's Vermont and we love our swinging screen doors but after a while we were like inundated with flies. Local focus, amazing food, quick friendly service... yup, we've found our new place for Mexican!

Food was superb. Very complex flavors with fairly simple ingredients- isn't that that goal of most great food? Well this place takes a few kinds of perfectly prepared proteins with rich hearty flavors, puts them on a tortilla of your choice, enhances them with creative Mexican sauces and fresh traditional ingredients- and BAM- you have a handful of complete yumminess. I started with three different tacos and rice and beans. It was a goodly amount of food but I yearned for more, so added another taco for dessert. Everything was delicious and I will dream of the homemade jalapeño salsa you can slop on anything and everything. Place is simple but accommodating. The guy making my food made me very excited to eat it because of his enthusiasm. Fairly certain the guy manning the cash register did not want to be there. I think his colleague knew, and tried to cover it to make it work. In general this is taco magic, and probably the best Mexican street food I've had west of the Mississippi. I work regularly in LA, so I love me some authentic Mexicanus. I will be back for more!

I would recommend Cilantros! The staff is up beat and friendly the food is good and they buy a lot of ingredients from local farmers.

I can't explain how good this place is. If you're in town, GO. I would like to preface this review by stating I do not eat at Taco Bell, thus my benchmark is much higher. A few friends and I went into Cilantro Taco after skiing Stratton and we are mighty glad we did. My friends both got the tacos and they were very happy. In fact so happy, they each went up and got a 4th taco . I got the chicken burrito which was perfect. We all agreed the local ingredients were fresh and enjoyed every bite. The cilantro oil they make was delightful and the homemade queso was out of this world. If your in the mood for hot food, go with the F'n hot sauce (also homemade) as promised, it's F'n hot! My friends face turned 50 shades of red, I thought we were going to have to call in the fire department. The owner gave her somethings to cool down the taco with. Staff here was very personable. The selection for orange juice is larger then most places, which I can appreciate. They also have a nice selection of beer which paired wonderfully with our meal.

I was looking for a place in town that used local meat and Cilantro was recommended. I walked in with my dog--who is a service dog and had his vest on--and the counterperson was incredibly rude. He said dogs weren't allowed so I held the dog up so he could see the vest. He continued to be rude and at one point said "And there's a letter in the pocket on that vest." Of course I said. I was very hungry so despite the rough treatment I ordered and the food was fine. Honestly though it was so upsetting to me to be treated like this that I ate and left as soon as I could.

Ate here for a quick lunch while searching out wedding venues in the area. Solid meal. Local and sustainable food. Delicious and nutritious and quick, exactly what we wanted! Everyone liked their meal, and we would return.

Fantastic and very well priced! Fresh and flavorful! The "elotes" was truly incredible! We have traveled all across the U.S. and this rivals some of the best of New Mexico and the Southwest!

  • Maureen W.

The price is right. The salads were large, filled with healthy ingredients of your choosing, and very tasty. The choices of salsas was impressive. The service was friendly and quick. This is everything you need in fast food.

  • Sabrina J.

Yummy food! I would call this place a healthier version of chipotle (of course depends on whatcha get) I ordered a burrito with mushrooms. It was soooo good. The ingredients tasted really fresh, everything was flavorful. I'm giving this place 4 stars because l ordered a salad to go and the salad was not that good. Stick to the burritos/tacos.

    (4)
  • Uri P.

These guys kill it! We walked in and ordered 20 burritos and they didn't even bat an eye and are always super friendly. The fact that they use local ingredients and non-GMO products in an extra awesome bonus. Manchester needs more places like Cilantro.

  • Umesh P.

Never on my wildest dreams imagined I would stumble on this taco gem place in VT. Came here for dinner when visiting Stratton for a ski weekend. The flavors these guys are churning out is pure joy. Having tasted good solid mexican food and tacos in NYC(alright West coast folks you might have better ones but I haven't been to west coast yet). My brother was so impressed and went over to talk to the guys running the place and they mentioned that they went down to Mexico to learn and understand real flavors and are trying to get them in Cilantro Taco. Verdict - MUST MUST MUST visit place if you are in area or visiting Stratton Ski.

For a casual, low key place , the food is wonderful. It makes you begin to understand how some of the best chain food establishments in the country started, because it would be great to have more of these. Everything is fresh, everything tastes wonderful. Their salad, with greens, corn, black beans, cilantro , some small nuts, with a smooth avocado dressing, topped with choice of chicken, beef or pork is fabulous. Tacos, burritos and alleles is tops.Coming from NYC , used to great food places. This place would be a big hit anywhere

So grateful that Manchester has a place like this. Dedicated to sourcing local produce and meats that have been ethically and sustainably grown and harvested. Fun atmosphere, great for the family or for a first date. People have fun here and can feel good after eating the food. Nice quirky and helpful staff that seem to like and take pride in what they do. A place like this should be a standard for fast-slow food. It encourages people to take responsibility for what they eat and where it comes from. Thanks y'all. Rock on. Great feel!

This is a hidden gem! You wouldn't expect such authentic and well flavored Mexican food in VT. There were 4 of us and each person insisted that their meal was the best. You really can't go wrong with braised pork, house made chorizo or braised beef. They also have some beautiful salsas and hot sauce. Plus it's quick and they have beer and wine. Can't say anything negative about this place!

  • Jaime C.

Love this place! I have been here twice so far. Street tacos are amazing! I have had both the chicken and beef taco. Perfectly seasoned! Love the fresh onions and cilantro it is topped with. Have also gotten the chips and salsa both times. I like the corn chips, but do not care for the flour chips, luckily the second time I ordered I knew to only order the corn ones. Salsas are great and fresh!!! Both times my husband and I have came the total was around $20. This included 6 tacos, chips and salsa, fancy bottle coke, and their homemade limeade. Not exactly cheap but well worth it for fresh delicious food!!! I must also add the food is very filling. We will frequent this place again!

Excellent - may be the best taco I've ever had! So fresh and reasonably priced - even had Mexican beer.

Fabulous hearty vegan fare. Mushroom burrito tasty and filling with tomatillo jalapeño salsa. All salsas tasty and homemade. Habanero with chips had just the right mix of flavor and heat.

Went here after reading the reviews and figured it was like a local Chipotle. The guys behind the counter dealt with my indecisive children and I was stoked to get fresh avocado slices on my salad and a glass of red wine. One of the guys was like a young Jack Black which made the experience even better. Now, I just need to teach my son better manners...when will he use a napkin and not his shirt.

  • Jessica L.

This place is AMAZING. I used to work in Manchester, and would make a point to go at least weekly for a chicken burrito. The house sauce they put on their food is incredible. The worst part about not working in Manchester anymore is now this place is an hour away from where I live or anywhere that I generally need to go :( But I have made the special 2-hour round trip before just to get food here. SOOO worth it.

Who would have thought in this quaint little town I'd eat one of the best burritos that I had in a really long time? This is a no frills joint because they focus all their energy into making really awesome food. Worth a stop!

First time, had the "Hill of Beans" with garlic and chili roasted chicken. It was phenomenal, explosions of euphoria-tic flavors. Highly recommend to anyone in Manchester, VT.

AMAZING little place! Food was fresh, tasty, and filling!!! You have to try their food if you are in the area. Be sure to get the hill of beans selection with their fresh queso....hmmm so tasty!!!

  • Lisa B.

While visiting Manchester, VT outlet shops we were hungry for a quick bite to eat. We found Cilantros and decided to give it a try. We both ordered the salad with roasted chicken. Chicken was a little dry but salsa helped a bit to get some moisture. Definitely would go back if ever again in the area.

  • K L.

Consistently good food and prompt service. Owned and operated by a local with fresh ingredients. I only wish their portion is a little bigger.. love this place! Not sure why ppl complain about limited menu.. this is a burrito place, not a restaurant.

    (5)
  • Vicky C.

So overrated... Greasy chicken thrown on top of some lettuce... Limited menu... Just really not that good

    (2)
  • Sam M.

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat! Staff is fast, efficient and friendly really couldn't ask for much more. Make sure you get the fresh queso it's delicious! Atmosphere inside could use a little work but besides that it's a great place I highly recommend it!

Great food. Very community and environmentally aware. Parking can be a challenge but it's there if you look. Staff is friendly, they recognize the regulars which is nice. If you ride a motorcycle they may get talking even more!

  • Devashis R.

Hidden gem in Manchester Center, VT (thanks Yelp) where every other place in town will run you $20 pp for dinner. Had the chicken burrito, which I found to be delicious and a lot of food, but they really skimped on the meat (one tiny tong's worth). I think I may have been the unlucky one, since no one else has said the same thing. The rice they used in the burrito was very nicely seasoned (tasted garlicky good). Had a bite of the pork shoulder special taco with the soft corn wrap and it was quite delicious. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and particularly if you're looking for budget eats. Plus they serve booze if you're in need.

A delicious place for tacos, burritos, and salads. Locally-owned; locally-sourced; locally-loved. It's great.

  • Greg R.

Wow, this place is really good. We rolled into town late and were headed to Gringo Jack's when we say this gem across the street. We immediately remembered what a great little place it was when we ate there last time we visited. Tonight, the service was warm and kind and the food was quick and delicious. I had the chicken burrito which was terrific and the side of guacamole was generous and fresh. Lastly, had the bean soup which had great texture and spice (although a little too spicy for my wife and kids). Couldn't pass up the great shirt and at $10 it was priced right. Lucky for us we saw Cilantro Taco on the way over to Gringo Jack's Unfortunately, we yelped mexican restaurants for twenty minutes but never found either one as Cilantro Taco was labeled "food" instead of mexican and Gringo Jack's was labeled "American". I am sure adding the mexican label to both would really help business because otherwise the closest mexican restaurant is 40 miles away. Cilantro Taco is a great place to stop for quick, delicious eats without getting hammered on the price. Check it out.

  • Sally N.

I love the food here! Pleasant atmosphere. Fast, efficient service. The guy who was serving the salsa pronounced it "salza". Is that a vermont thing?

    (4)
  • T C.

Still the best burritos in town! Get there early, the shop fills up pretty quick with people grabbing take out so the order line can get long sometimes. All the ingredients taste so darn fresh, the only downside of this place - finding a table at lunch. This is the 3rd year I've travelled to manchester center area for vacation with the fam-crew and each year we make this a daily stop.

    (5)
  • Rachael T.

The cheapest thing you'll find in the area -- and delicious! I got the special that day, which was a pork taco with pineapple salsa (or something along those lines) and it was seriously amazing. I also had a chorizo street taco with the spicy veg salsa.... alright, but nothing compared to the special. They should definitely add that to the regular menu! I'm drooling just thinking of it.

  • Joe Z.

Amazing twist on Mexican food! A great place to get a quick bite but anything but fast food.

    (5)
  • Jen D.

Great food, although, their 3 taco special, 2 burritos (which were very small), chips and salsa & 2 drinks cost $43. We could have gotten two steak dinners for that cost. Bottom line: good food , not worth the price. We avoided the higher priced restaurants to get good, reasonably cost, local food and ended up spending twice of what I would have paid for it.

    (2)
  • Aleks K.

Super tasty and unexpected. We got the chicken and pork tacos, a margarita and a Mexican coke for $29 though. Add on avocado to each taco set and get ready to be thrilled. We were definitely full all day and the tacos were soft, flavorful and delish.

  • J P.

Has definitely gone downhill. My last few visits left a bit to be desired, but today was a holiday so I stopped in. I wish I hadn't. The food was so salty that it made me feel sick to eat it. I had to pound water in order to get the gross taste out of my mouth. Someone needs to start paying attention again to the food they are putting out there, and the ingredient ratios. There used to be love in this food. Now it's just bad.

  • Lindsay L.

Their beef burrito was yummy! It made me big smile! and also staffs were friendly to everyone! I am glad to find this place around here. I will be back after boarding at Stratton. :)

Great place for a quick meal! We stopped in for a late lunch after hiking Equinox. The food was fresh and flavorful!. The service was friendly and efficient. My husband and I both had salads and they were delicious! You cant beat this place for the price!

Hip little taco shop. Simple menu with high quality food makes for an incredible experience. Mushrooms are a great veggie substitute. I highly recommend trying the house made queso fresco. Mini burrito was plenty for a meal.

Fresh, delicious, fast food! Great alternative for 'fast food', but with fresh, local ingredients. Salsa's are all homemade and very tasty. You pick what type of meal you'd like (burrito, taco, salad, etc), your meat, salsa and other toppings. Really great for a quick meal!

    (4)
  • Liz I.

Better then Chipotle, but the portions are smaller. The food is fresh and made to order. Good price ($7) in general for each item. Serves beer.

    (5)
  • Eric G.

Great for a quick lunch. They even make their own cheese in house. Would definitely go back. Absolutely destroys what you'd get from a place like Chipolte.

Nice gal at the counter. Perfectly ripe avocado and delicious salsa. Strangely yummy bottled Cayman Jack margarita. My boy enjoyed his tacos and jarritos lemon lime soda. Happy mom and child. great, healthy dinner for 23$ , including tequila!

There's some things I really like about Cilantro, and some things I'd prefer they'd change. I'll start with the positives. There's a wide variety of meats, non-meat fillings and several kinds of cheese and salsa to put in your burritos, tacos, etc. The marinated mushrooms are excellent, and the pork is solidly above average. They offer grilled corn and fresh sliced avocado to along with the standard hot sauce, sour cream and lettuce. The variety extends to the beverages as well, with many different sodas, flavors of bottled Honest Tea and Polar seltzer plus an array of delicious Mexican beers. Best of all, $2 Tecate! I might come here just to have a drink! Now for the downside. As you might fathom to guess, Cilantro isn't super-authentic. It's a reasonable facsimile for Vermont, and the food is still pretty good, authentic or not. Those extras and add-ons I mentioned above all cost extra too, with avocado and extra cheese options both adding $2 to your order. Even the grilled corn, which I got in place of salsa, I was charged extra for. My burrito was quite small as well - if a Chipotle burrito is an NFL regulation football, the one I had was a Nerf ball. It tasted good, but it was gone in an instant. Overall the base prices aren't unreasonable, but the add-ons are pricey and can quickly turn a $5 item into a $10 one. It's better than expected for the area, but if you're used to the burrito options in California, Texas or even Boston, you may be disappointed.

This place is small and easy to overlook. However, it's one of my favorite places in Manchester. The ingredients are tasty and fresh, and the service is always quick and friendly. They serve a variety of meats, and mushrooms for vegetarians, and the menu is easily flexible to suit one's own tastes. They also sell cookies, which always taste great. If you can manage to force yourself to wake up early Saturday or Sunday morning, then it's worth it to try their breakfasts, which is only available on weekends, but is very good!

  • Jaclyn R.

Good place for a grab and go meal and don't have time to sit down at a formal meal. Had the chorizo tacos which did not really taste like chorizo, it had such a hot spice that it killed any flavor in the taco. The rest of the ingredients were super fresh so it was disappointing not to be able to taste it. Another miss was no guacamole, but at least they had fresh avocado. Was also great they had corn tortillas in addition to flour tortillas (for gluten sensitivity). Staff was super friendly :) All in all, it was mexican in the middle of Vermont - not exactly authentic.

    (3)
  • Alanna R.

Cilantro is the best place to get vegan fare in Manchester hands down. If you need a quick bite to eat don't miss out on their mushroom burrito. Avocado is extra though. I also wish their burritos were bigger and the prices were lower, but it is Manchester after all.

    (4)
  • Chris H.

Good burritos. Unique style--not Cali, not Qdoba, not Chipoltle, but something different and good. Got the mushroom "meat" option, the jalapeno and tomatillo salsa, and the homemade queso fresco.

  • Marc W.

I'm not from the area but I do visit family here often and I LOVE Cilantro. I went in assuming that it would be like Chipotle (my quick-stop Mexican place back home...some of you midwesterners may know..) but it was 10 times better. The food tastes so fresh and I believe everything is organic/free-range. Prices are great! If you've read my other reviews you know that I like places for the food and not just the atmosphere but I really like Cilantro's setup. It's very clean and simple and we stop here many times throughout a week's visit to Vermont! I recommend a Hill-of-Beans and make sure you try the special Cilantro-Lime sauce and for the especially daring---the Effin hot sauce! mmmmm I'm getting hungry just writing this!

What a great find! I've been really into Mexican lately and Cilantro did not disappoint. I was visiting some friends for the weekend, and it was recommended as a good place to get a burrito. For $7 you choose pulled pork, marinated chicken, or braised beef (I think they have other options too) The food is made to order and salsas and ingredients are all fresh. I got the marinated chicken and hubs got the braised beef. They also make their own special cheese! This was not your average burrito place - a bit more gourmet. The cinnamon pita chips looked delicious as well. They also serve beer here - and there are some tables to sit in and eat a meal. 5 stars!

I *really* wanted to like Cilantro. It has all the makings of a go-to lunch spot - locally-owned, house-made ingredients, young friendly staff, a good booze selection, and reasonable prices. However, as much as I wanted to like it, my two tacos (1 chorizo, 1 chicken) were nearly inedible due the amount of grease each meat came swimming in. My manfriend wolfed down my leftovers without issue, so maybe I'm being a little picky (or maybe we caught an off day?), but heads-up to others who might be sensitive to that kind of thing.

Cilantro is a wonderful addition to the town of Manchester. The food is always fresh, the prices are reasonable especially since you are getting fresh, local ingredients. The salads are a go to for anyone looking for something tasty and refreshing. All the salsas are great and the house made queso fresco is fantastic. Don't miss out on this place when visiting Manchester! Oh and the service is always great!

So fresh! So tasty!! I crave their taco salad when I'm not in town- sometimes we'll even go for lunch two days in a row if we're visiting Machester for the weekend. My favorite meat option is the carnitas but my fiance loves their chicken. You'll want to order a side of their mouthwatering homemade chips & salsa if you see them while you're at the register but they're so filling you won't be able to eat the meal you came for. Their tacos and burritos are also really delicious!

Just visited my family in Vermont over Christmas and New Years and happened across Cilantro. I went back 3 times! The food is fresh, very flavorful and not too expensive. I highly recommend Cilantro for anyone visiting the area!

If you want straightforward Mexican fare with a few twists that can be eaten on site or taken out, this is a good spot to frequent. Burritos and tacos had main protein options that included a veggie mushroom offering and a homemade chorizo. All meat was locally sourced and they offer queso fresco as well. It was nice to see a variety of salsa offerings including a green chile and tomatillo. I ordered the chipotle chicken (special of the day), chorizo and pork tacos. The chorizo was appropriately spicy, the chipotle stood up well, but the pork was a bit bland but brightened by the tomatillo salsa. It looks like they use regular flour tortillas instead of corn ones for tacos, and it would have been nice to see some fresh cilantro or lime available to add to the dish. Ordering up the house iced tea I asked for wedge of lemon and was told "We don't have it, we try to keep it simple." Understood, but a few little touches would add a favorable touch to their offerings.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
